Keyboard and focus
Native buttons coexist with custom link and drag behavior that needs explicit keyboard review.
On this page
Implemented behavior
- Normal bookmark tiles have link role, tabIndex=0, and Enter/Space activation.
- Named buttons support creation, edit, delete, mode switching and clear search.
- Create editors autofocus a field; switching input modes focuses the new input.
- Menus use outside-pointer dismissal and aria-expanded triggers.
Source gaps
- Editors do not trap focus, mark modal state, close on Escape or restore trigger focus.
- Only PointerSensor and TouchSensor are configured for link and board sorting; no keyboard sensor.
- Board chips and accent swatches lack programmatic selected state.
- Custom icon results have buttons but no combobox/listbox or arrow-key interaction model.
- Some inputs suppress default outlines and rely on a border-color change; keyboard focus visibility needs measured review.
Acceptance checklist
- Tab reaches all required actions without moving behind a modal.
- Escape dismisses the current overlay before changing unrelated state.
- Focus returns to the originating action after close.
- Reordering has a named keyboard alternative.
- Selected workspace and swatch are announced independently of color.
