Patterns

Manage a learner’s course access

Find a learner, inspect assigned courses, and make a deliberate access change.

On this page

Task sequence

  • Search the student list using a name or email.
  • Open the learner’s record.
  • Inspect course assignments and available selection controls.
  • Revoke or update access through the parent workflow.

Data and persistence boundary

All names, emails, course assignments, and counts in this reference are fictional. The student-detail page owns persistence; CourseListItem is a presentation/control boundary.

Failure and recovery

Do not interpret an unchecked row as confirmed revoked access. Verify response and refresh behavior before treating a membership change as complete.

Interface examples

Native TeachKit interfaces with fictional course, account, and learner records. Service responses and media are isolated demonstrations; no customer data or live changes. Captured at 2× resolution or higher. Select an image to inspect it full size.
