Patterns
Manage lesson references and downloads
Keep resources meaningful and safe to activate without pretending that a displayed link verifies storage.

Workflow
| Step | Responsibility |
|---|---|
| 1 | Read actual resource arrays from the lesson. |
| 2 | Use descriptive labels and the editor’s URL validation. |
| 3 | Render reference and download sections only when content exists. |
| 4 | Activate the appropriate link/download destination in the live authorized app. |
Decisions and composition
- Empty URLs are omitted by the display components.
- Downloads append a download query marker; response headers still affect browser behavior.
- Avoid signed/private resource URLs in public capture metadata.
Errors, recovery and limits
- No new resources are invented for this pilot.
- Expired access and blocked cross-origin downloads need real error handling.
- Trimming a string does not establish a safe protocol.

Examples from the app
Actual TeachKit UI with Thomas McGee’s course content. Session, progress and connection specimens are simulated; no student data or live changes. Captured at 2× resolution or higher. Select an image to inspect it full size.
