Keyboard, focus, and motion
A source-specific interaction checklist separates implemented semantics from verification still required.

Source evidence
| Interface | Implemented evidence | Remaining check |
|---|---|---|
| TaskCheckbox | Native button; aria-pressed; title included in accessible name | Controlled persistence, announcements in each container |
| SettingsToggle / ScheduleToggle | role=switch; aria-checked; schedule naming | Disabled and save semantics in every workflow |
| Project ordering | Handle name explains drag/arrow keys; workspace supplies handler | Focus stability, persistence failure, reduced-motion animation |
| Project status | menuitemradio and aria-checked; Escape dismissal | Arrow-key traversal and focus return |
| Day picker | Full-date button labels; nonmodal dialog | Predictable keyboard navigation and focus management |
| Completion dialog | Alertdialog IDs, initial focus, Escape and restoration | Tab/Shift+Tab containment and screen-reader context |
| Agenda block detail | Body lock, focused panel, Escape and restoration | Containment and reading order |
| Block editor | Native time fields and polite validation | Modal naming, containment and restoration |
| Agenda drag/resize | Pointer snapping and live announcements | Equivalent keyboard/touch editing and error recovery |
| Undo notification | Status semantics; named dismiss; seven-second lifetime | Reachable recovery and timing requirements |
| Running notes | Typed text/task blocks and local editing logic | Manual rich-editor screen-reader and keyboard testing |
Manual verification protocol
- Start with keyboard only. Reach every action, operate it, dismiss its surface, and confirm where focus returns.
- For dialogs, cycle Tab and Shift+Tab through the entire boundary. Verify that background controls cannot capture focus unexpectedly.
- Check a screen reader’s announcement of the task title, state change, menu choice, error, and dialog context. Record the browser and assistive technology used.
- Test 200% zoom and narrow layouts, then reduced-motion preference. Include long titles and overlapping agenda blocks.
- Confirm that removing an entry and Undo are usable without relying on a short visual animation or a mouse.
Audit boundary
This reference records visible semantics and inspected source behavior. It does not report JAWS, NVDA, VoiceOver, or complete WCAG testing as performed. Captures use reduced-motion preference and verify rendering, not every timing interaction.
