The rationale

Give the inbox a useful shape.

When several products share one small team, a support inbox needs more context than a chronological list of messages. Sonarist explores a unified workspace where the product, conversation type, customer relationship, and responsible teammate are visible together.

New senders have a dedicated screening area before they join the normal flow. Existing conversations move through states such as needs reply, waiting, and follow-up. The goal is to make the reason for opening the inbox clear: decide which conversation needs attention and who should handle it.

The conversation view keeps the message thread, assignment controls, and reply composer together. People and team views extend the same model, linking customer context and access decisions back to everyday support work. Desktop and phone layouts, plus light and dark themes, are part of the interface work.

Sonarist is a work in progress. These captures demonstrate the existing interactive UI with fictional conversations, companies, teammates, and example.com addresses. They do not represent a launched helpdesk or a connected customer-support operation.
